Customer Terms of Use

1.About Reiye and Acceptance of These Terms

Reiye (the "Platform") is a beauty discovery and review platform that helps users discover, review and connect with beauty and wellness professionals. The Platform is owned and operated by Oraye Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17382350, whose registered office is at 66 Paul Street, London, England, United Kingdom, EC2A 4NA ("Reiye", "we", "us" or "our").

Reiye does not itself provide beauty treatments, products or services. Beauty professionals and businesses listed on the Platform are independent of Reiye.

These Terms of Use (these "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Reiye website, Platform and any related services we make available from time to time. By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account or submitting a review, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Oraye Ltd. By using the Platform you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and, where relevant, our Review Policy and Cookie Policy, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2.Account and Security

To use the Platform you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. By using the Platform you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

You must provide accurate, current and complete information when creating an account and keep that information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Each email address may be linked to only one Reiye account type. To hold both a Customer account and a Business account you must use a separate email address for each. You may not create an account using another person’s identity or information.

Reiye may verify your identity, email address and other details, and may refuse, suspend or close an account where information is inaccurate or where these Terms are breached.

3.Using Reiye

Reiye allows customers to discover beauty professionals, browse business profiles, read reviews, save businesses, submit reviews and follow external booking links. These Terms apply to your use of the Platform as a customer.

If you also hold or wish to hold a business account, separate Business Terms of Use apply to that use. Each email address may be linked to only one Reiye account type.

4.Discovering Beauty Professionals

Reiye is a beauty discovery and review platform. Reiye does not itself provide beauty treatments, products or services, and does not itself employ, engage or contract with the beauty professionals listed on the Platform.

Beauty professionals and businesses listed on the Platform are independent from Reiye. Any booking or service is arranged directly between you and the relevant beauty professional, business or booking provider.

5.Reviews and User Content

The Platform allows users to submit reviews, ratings, photos and other content ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit and for ensuring it complies with these Terms and our Review Policy.

Reviews must reflect genuine customer experiences. To protect the integrity of the Platform, you must not:

• Submit fake or misleading reviews
• Review services you did not genuinely experience
• Manipulate ratings through multiple accounts or coordinated activity
• Submit bot-generated or automated reviews
• Impersonate another customer or another person
• Submit multiple reviews intended to manipulate a rating
• Submit a review in exchange for money, payment, discounts, gifts, free services, competition entries or other benefits offered in return for leaving a review

You grant Reiye a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable licence to use, reproduce, publish, display, modify, adapt and distribute your User Content on and through the Platform and related services, for the purposes of operating, promoting and improving the Platform. You represent that you hold all necessary rights and permissions to submit your User Content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

Reiye may moderate, edit, hide, remove or otherwise manage User Content at any time where it breaches these Terms, the Review Policy or applicable law, or where otherwise reasonably required. Reiye has no obligation to monitor User Content but may do so.

6.Review Standards

When submitting a review, you must:

• Reflect a genuine experience
• Represent your own experience only
• Comply with the Review Policy
• Not contain knowingly false information
• Not contain threats, harassment, abusive content or unlawful discriminatory content
• Not disclose another person’s private information without lawful justification
• Not contain spam or unrelated promotional content

You remain responsible for the content you submit. Photos you submit (including before and after images) are User Content and are governed by these Terms and the Review Policy.

Reviews must not be submitted in exchange for money, payment, discounts, gifts, free services, competition entries or other benefits offered in return for leaving a review. Businesses must not purchase, commission or improperly incentivise reviews. Disclosing an incentive does not make an incentivised review permissible.

7.External Booking Links

Booking links on the Platform may direct you to external websites or third-party booking providers. Where this happens, the booking and any resulting service contract is between you and the beauty professional, business or relevant booking provider, and not with Reiye.

Reiye does not process, administer, fulfil or guarantee any booking or service. Reiye does not take appointment payments, hold deposits, issue booking refunds, manage provider cancellations, or manage customer cancellations on behalf of providers. Reiye is not a party to any agreement between you and a beauty professional or business, and is not responsible for the provision, quality, safety or outcome of any service.

Where you follow an external booking link, the third party or provider may have separate terms, pricing is generally determined by the provider, deposits are generally between the provider and the customer, cancellation arrangements are generally between the provider and the customer, and the beauty-service contract is generally between the provider and the customer. You should review and comply with the terms, policies and cancellation rules that apply to that booking provider or business.

Any dispute, claim or concern regarding a booking or service is between you and the relevant beauty professional, business or booking provider.

8.Relationship With Beauty Professionals

Beauty professionals and businesses listed on the Platform are independent businesses and service providers, and are not employees, agents, partners or representatives of Reiye. Nothing in these Terms creates any employment, agency, partnership or representative relationship between you and Reiye unless a separate written agreement specifically provides otherwise. Reiye does not normally employ professionals, provide their services, determine their prices, determine their working hours, or supervise the delivery of their beauty services.

Any dispute, claim or concern regarding a booking or service is between you and the relevant beauty professional, business or booking provider. You should review and comply with the terms, policies and cancellation rules that apply to that booking provider or business.

9.Beauty Treatments and Health Information

Beauty and wellness treatments can carry risks, including the risk of allergic reactions, skin irritation or other adverse effects. Some treatments may not be suitable for everyone, particularly where you have an existing health condition, allergy, sensitivity or are pregnant.

Before receiving any treatment you should seek appropriate professional advice, disclose any relevant health information, allergies or sensitivities to the beauty professional, and follow any patch-test or pre-treatment guidance provided. You are responsible for your own health and treatment decisions.

Reiye does not provide medical or professional advice. Information on the Platform is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional advice. If you have any concerns about a treatment, you should consult a qualified professional.

10.Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the Platform to do anything unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, misleading or otherwise contrary to these Terms. Without limitation, you must not:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive purpose
• Harass, abuse, threaten, intimidate or defame any person
• Engage in coordinated harassment or target another user, a professional or Reiye staff
• Post hate speech, discriminatory or sexually explicit content, or content that encourages violence
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or business
• Infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any person
• Collect, scrape or harvest data from the Platform without our permission
• Introduce viruses, malware or any other harmful code, or interfere with the security or operation of the Platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other accounts or systems
• Circumvent or disable any security, access or usage controls
• Use the Platform to send unsolicited communications or advertising

You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Platform.

Reiye may take proportionate action depending on the severity, frequency, previous violations, safety, suspected fraud, illegal activity, Platform integrity and applicable law. Possible actions may include warnings, content removal, temporary restrictions, suspension or account removal. Serious cases may justify immediate action.

11.Reporting Content

Users and business owners may report reviews or other content that they reasonably believe breaches these Terms or the Review Policy. Reports should identify the content and the reason for the report.

Examples of content that may be reported include suspected fake reviews, reviews unrelated to a genuine experience, spam, threats, harassment, abusive content, prohibited private information, or other content prohibited by the Review Policy.

A review will not be removed merely because it is negative, because a business disagrees with it, because the customer expresses dissatisfaction, or because the business has a different account of events. Reporting a review does not guarantee that it will be removed.

Reiye may consider available information and take moderation action under its Review Policy. Reiye does not legally determine which party is telling the truth, provide legal adjudication, act as a court, or make legally binding findings concerning the underlying service dispute.

The reporting system must not be misused. Misuse includes reporting content merely because it is negative, making repeated reports without new information, selecting inaccurate report reasons, or coordinating mass reports. Reiye may restrict reporting access where it is abused.

12.Third-Party Websites and Booking Platforms

The Platform may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites, booking providers, social media platforms and other services. These are provided for convenience and information only.

Reiye does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites or services, including their content, accuracy, availability, security, products, services or practices. Your use of third-party websites and services is at your own risk and is subject to the terms and policies of those third parties.

Reiye is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, any third-party website or service.

13.Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, features, branding, software and content (excluding User Content), is owned by or licensed to Reiye and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title or interest in the Platform or our intellectual property except for the limited right to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant Reiye the licence described in the Reviews and User Content section. You must not use the Platform in a way that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any person.

Reiye reserves all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.

14.Platform Availability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we aim to keep the Platform available and reliable, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or available at all times.

We may suspend, restrict, update, change or discontinue the Platform, or any part of it, at any time, including for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons. We may also add, change or remove features.

We are not liable for any unavailability, delay or interruption of the Platform.

15.Suspension and Termination

Reiye may suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the Platform, or close your account, where you breach these Terms, where required by law, or to protect the Platform or other users. Reiye may take proportionate action considering the seriousness, frequency, previous conduct, user safety, suspected fraud, illegal activity, Platform integrity, cooperation with investigations and applicable law. Possible actions may include warnings, content removal, profile changes, restrictions, suspension or permanent removal. Where legally and operationally appropriate, Reiye may provide notice and/or an opportunity to respond. Serious cases may justify immediate action.

You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Closing your account does not automatically remove User Content that has already been published, and Reiye may retain records as described in the Privacy Policy and Review Policy.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including those relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law and contact.

16.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reiye excludes all conditions, warranties, representations and terms that are not expressly set out in these Terms, and excludes liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform, except where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reiye will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss or damage, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

17.Privacy and Personal Data

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You should read the Privacy Policy to understand how your personal data is handled. Detailed personal-data retention provisions are set out in the Privacy Policy.

18.Changes to These Terms

Reiye may update or change these Terms from time to time. Where we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to communicate them, for example by updating the "Last updated" date or through the Platform.

Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Platform.

19.Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to any applicable mandatory consumer protection rules, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform.

21.Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

22.No Waiver

No failure or delay by Reiye in enforcing any right or provision of these Terms will be deemed a waiver of that right or provision, and no single or partial exercise of any right will preclude any further exercise of that or any other right.
